Tockington Ford

I will be grateful for assistance in the verification of a historic ford on Lower Tockington Road. Tony Turnbull and Martin Gibson have been researching the existence of such a ford and have provided me with the maps in the link below. There is anecdotal evidence, which has been passed down the generations, that boat traffic in the form of punts brought coal and wheat up to Tockington Mill Rhine from the River Severn. However, there is now no physical evidence and the maps are silent on the existence of the ford.
